The Underrated Pokemon Character Pikachu

Pikachu is my favorite Pokémon for many reasons. The first one being that it is cute. Most people over look Pikachu because it's not exactly the best Pokémon but I'm here to tell that is wrong. Pikachu is great because with the addition of the light ball it can take other Pokémon out with one hit. Yes it's true it can't take many hits itself but don't let that turn you off Pikachu. Another reason I love Pikachu is because of the anime where Pikachu is Ash's trusted partner.

In the anime Pikachu displays feats of strength it can't in the game. I find that to be an endearing quality of Pikachu. Pikachu also shows how intelligent it can be by mimicking things to tell Ash what had happened. Pikachu also has a nurturing side as seen when it took care of Togepi. For all these reasons I love Pikachu. You should too because Pikachu is a great Pokémon. Now Pikachu had been featured as the mascot for Pokémon for a long time now due to its cuteness.

I think that more people should choose Pikachu as a Pokémon to put on their teams in the game. Pikachu even got his own game Pokémon Yellow. I think they should remake this game as it features the cute yellow Pokémon following you around. Pikachu has been in many games and is the featured Pokémon in Poke Park Wii. As you can see Pikachu is a great Pokémon and you should use it on your team.

My final reason for loving Pikachu is how it wants to show it's just as strong as its evolved form Raichu. This has been seen in a couple of episodes where Pikachu manages to kicks its evolved form's butt. I think that is just amazing as not to many Pokémon have done that in the anime let alone more that once. Another thing to note about Pikachu is that it can learn the moves Fly and Surf which is something no other Electric Pokémon can do. In conclusion I think Pikachu has been overlooked way to much in the past and I think it's time to embrace the Pokémon that made the franchise what it is today.
