Mythbusters is a reality series, trying to prove to two special effects engineer or to disprove the myths and legends. If a second team of young 'Mythbusters' Kari Byron, Tory Bellec, Grant Imahara. Each episode focuses support on two myths. The team is trying different ways to refute them, often expensive equipment and effects. At the end of the study, the myth is either cracked, as confirmed or probable than reality.

The series was shown in many international broadcasters, including SBS and the Discovery Channel Germany, Discovery Channel Canada, Discovery Channel Quest and the United Kingdom. Host of the show, special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman use elements of the scientific method to test the validity of rumors, myths, scenes from the movie, words, internet videos and news.
Special effects experts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman use their skills and knowledge to ensure the validity of various rumors and legends in popular culture. The show is narrated by Robert Lee, is usually M5 Industries, Hyneman's special effects workshop and is near San Francisco.
Savage and Hyneman are the original MythBusters, and initially all of the myths of the series studied by common experience with special effects. Both work in the workshop Hyneman effect, M5 Industries, with their employees, who often shows off the screen, with Hyneman and Savage in general, most work in the workshop. The show said Robert Lee, though in some regions his voice replaced by a local historian.
As the series progressed, the staff was introduced Hyneman and started regular episodes. Three of these members are artist Kari Byron, Tory Bellec manufacturer metal workers and Scottie Chapman, as a second team of MythBusters during the second season, "Build Team" instead. After Chapman left the show during the third season was Grant Imahara, a colleague of Hyneman hired, to provide the team with his experience in electricity and robotics. Byron took a maternity leave from mid-2009, filled their position in the Team Build temporary Jessi Combs, better known for co-hosting Spike Xtreme 4x4.
Byron returned to the second episode of season eight. The team is now building his own workshop, called M7, separate the myths from the original duo's investigation. Each episode now typically alternate between two teams, the various myths, although sometimes both teams have to work together.
The series had two interns, known as "Mythterns: Discovery Channel contest winner Christine Chamberlain and viewer building contest-winner Jess Nelson. In the first period, the program presents segments with folklorist Heather Joseph-Witham, who explains origin of the myth, and others with firsthand experience of the myths to the test, but they were eliminated early in the series.
The MythBusters more often consult experts for myths subjects for which they need help. These issues are weapons that they consulted, especially the lieutenant of Al-Normandie South San Francisco Police Department, and explosives, for which they consult retired FBI bomb expert Frank Doyle and Sgt JD Nelson, the Office of the Sheriff of Alameda County. MythBusters ask the trial that they knew about the myth of the investigation.
