This strategy will help you maximize the pot.

On the other hand, if the flop comes with an ace on board, you can just smooth call a small bet or fold to a larger bet, and abandon your trap, since you have position. This will minimize your losses in the case where an opponent has called you preflop with an ace.

The social media puzzle is not something that many call centers have been able to crack. Many are in the experimental stage where they are still groping for the best way to move ahead. Some have already given up on this medium as a losing proposition. The lack of concrete lead generation results on social media is a real downer for the BPO units. They feel that they are not hitting the right note in the returns on investment (ROI) sector. They want some tangible results coming in and they want things to click fast. Social media marketing is essentially something that takes up time. You cannot push things to happen. They have a cycle and nothing you do can make the process speed up for results. In fact, the more you try to make things happen, there are chances that you will jeopardize the process.

There are several reasons why the sales lead generation on Facebook, Twitter and even MySpace presents difficulties. To begin with, these are not marketing sites. The users here come to hang around and spend a good time. It's like a restaurant. You cannot barge in and try to sell things! To make that effort, you need to be friends with the users. By friends, I don't mean that you will add them up at random and then push web links to them. The BPO agents need to interact with them. They need to have casual conversations that have nothing to do with the telemarketing process. Once you win their trust and you are talking on a semi-formal level, it's time to talk about the brand you are working for. Take your time to prepare the mould.

If you find that personal interactions on a wide scale are not possible because you have too many people on the page, cut down on adding more. Create some activity among the friends you already have. Create events and polls. Mobilize the group. Call center agents have to realize that no one on social media wants to be part of a group where there is no activity. The basic idea of social media marketing is to have fun! When they find that your group is cool, they will talk about you and you will have to do nothing for lead generation. You will have people signing up on themselves. The age-old practice of pull marketing works best on social media.

There is an important aspect of marketing that call center companies can try out on social media: viral marketing. In such a form, the word spreads through a network of friends and not by personal messages or tweets. The fabric of social network is that people are connected in a weird, mind-boggling way. No one is isolated and you can never predict how fast or how penetrable the reach is. If you are big on social media, you have a thriving brand that you can bank on. You can fall back on your friends/followers on social media when you hit a lean patch in terms of leads.

Admit it - you still crave a good game of scrolling Super Mario or Dig Dug just like you did "back in the day." We all do because playing them brings back some of the fondest memories. But it isn't easy to play these games the way we used to. Unless we've kept the systems and cartridges of the past in good working condition, our only trip down this jagged pixel lane is through a little known gem called emulation.

Through emulation, you can play some of your favorite games from the past including games made for Commodore, Atari, and Nintendo. Emulation refers to the ability of a program or device to imitate another program or device and it tricks the software into believing that a device is really some other device. It is also possible for a computer to emulate another type of computer. For example, there are programs that enable an Apple Macintosh to emulate a PC. 1

All that gobbledy gook doesn't really mean too much until you discover that with the right emulator, your computer can play all your old favorite games. And the news gets even better. You can download emulators from the Internet - free. You can download Amiga, Commodore, GameBoy, Playstation 1, and Nintendo emulators plus you can download the games (ROMs) that these machines play.

Our favorite emulator is the ZSNES Emulator. This particular program emulates the old Super Nintendo console and you can learn more about it yourself by visiting http://www.zsnes dot com. This program comes with an extensive help file and walks you through the process of setting up a copy on your own PC. At the very least, your system needs a 486/100 processor, 14.5MB of RAM, a VGA card, and a Sound Blaster or 100% compatible sound card. However a system with a fast P200 or higher Pentium processor, 32MB of RAM, VGA card, and Sound Blaster 16 or 100% compatible sound card yields the most realistic results.

But don't think that just because a console is on the computer - you can't enjoy your favorite gaming accessories. The ZSNES Emulator let's users maneuver around games with the keyboard and a joystick. But enough about the emulator - You probably want to know what kind of games you can play, right?

Both of these pencil and paper to keyboard and monitor translations also have basic design tools for constructing your own puzzles. Word Connect Special Edition is a one board demo of a Scrabble clone where players try to form interlocking words on a board with lettered tiles.

4. Mahjongg Master: Enjoy the classic Chinese game of strategy with this full-featured version! You'll find 18 original tile sets -- everything from classic MahJongg tiles to all new designs! 5. Marble Blast: In this arcade action game from independent publisher Garage Games, players take the control of marbles. The objective of the game is to race the marble through the 72 levels each containing moving platforms, dangerous hazards, sparkling treasures and power up enhancements, and complete it in record time.

6. Miniverse Minigolf: Two 9 hole mini golf courses for 1-4 players. One course is set on "Earth" and features putting through locations such as a construction site, a war zone, and a casino. The other course is set in space and includes a variety of science fiction obstacles like tele-porters and laser shields. Players can choose to control their putter by pushing or pulling the mouse and can select one of several different colors for their golf ball.

7. Pinball: E-Games' Pinball is a 3D pinball simulation with three tables. 3D acceleration is used for all sorts of realistic effects like table glass, light halos, shadows, reflections of the ball on the table, and more. Standard pinball game play applies; knock down targets to light up bonuses, which can be further increased by multipliers.

8. Word Search Mania: A computerized version of the standard pencil and paper word search. Word Search Mania is a collection of 222 assorted puzzles with a variety of strange topics in varying degrees of difficulty. It also contains a tool for building puzzles from your own lists of words.

Everything From Puzzle Games To Action Titles Available Online

I’ve put a few posts up in the past touching on the sad state of gaming for those of us who love to play, but just don’t have the time to invest in World of WarCraft or Second Life. Don’t get me wrong, those are awesome games. But when I have to drop the kids off at school for 9am, start getting their lunch ready at 11am, pick them up and feed them, keep them out of trouble for thirty minutes then drive them back to school and then start all over again at dinner. You know the drill. That’s on top of housework, the dogs, and blogging of course.

So what’s a girl to do? I want my video game fix, but I’m not a teenager with any measurable responsibilities. Well, I’ve had a change of heart compared to what I may have said in previous posts. It turns out that there are options and, like everything else, it’s the Internet to the rescue. Really, what can’t the web make better? Here’s the big reveal: I’ve discovered the world of online games. Not “online” like those MMORPGs that I don’t have time for, but online as in a huge selection of casual games, available as free or inexpensive downloads. Many of these are incredibly well-done, with cool graphics and addictive game play, but you can quickly download and play and actually get a game in when you have twenty minutes to kill. Think Bejeweled, Jewel Quest, Mah Jong Quest and Restaurant Rush. You aren’t tied to a video game console, you don’t need the latest PC gaming rig and you don’t have to pony up fifty bucks to play one title. Game on!
