D’Albert is tormented by his unattainable ideal of the perfect woman and settles for the beautiful but second best widow, Rosette. During a holiday at her family Chateau, d’Albert finally meets his vision of beauty and falls head over heels in love but only to discover the vision is male!

Madeline de Maupin leaves home at 17 years of age on a quest to discover the truth about men and their real thoughts on women. To succeed in this quest she assumes the clothes and pursuits of men, pursuits including the seduction and wooing of young women. But will her quest for the true nature of men lead her to love? How will d’Albert reconcile with his perfect love being male? And what is the history between Rosette and the handsome horseman, Theodore?

This historic novel was considered ground breaking in its time for the themes it addressed so openly, homosexuality, gender roles, cross dressing and the idea that women too have desires and ideas on their love life. D’Albert has the soul of an artist and as so his descriptions are epic in detail whereas de Maupin’s story is short and to the point. This contrast in narration is intended as a reflection of the characters telling their tales. Overall an interesting story giving a glimpse of 18th century rural life.

Wet 'n Wild

First up on the list is the most popular and highly attractive Wet 'n Wild. The name says it all, promising to bring out the water animal in you. Now, if going out to have crazy fun is not your style, perhaps tanning out at the wave pool or chilling at the Lazy River is your cup of tea. No matter what your taste, you will NOT be disappointed.

Wet 'n Wild is known for its most famous ride, The Next Generation: The Black Hole, a two person capsule that plunges into the dark unknown and out into a splashing finish that is sure to have you screaming. Don't get drowned out yet; take a stab at the Surf Lagoon Wave Pool. Four foot waves will roll over a span of the 17,000 square foot wave pool that will give you a taste of what Florida beaches are like… without our good friends the sharks of course! SeaWorld's Aquatica

Bed Bug Recognition

Bed Bugs are heat sensitive, wingless blood-feasting bugs that are found everywhere, including the United States. Initially they start life like a small but visible egg, about the dimension of a poppy seed. From there they feed on blood and become juvenile or "nymph" stage bugs. As they develop into adults, brown or red (fed) bed bugs (Here you can get data about what is bed bug) get about the dimensions of an apple seed. Bed bugs can live up to 20 months and might go without a blood meal for 1 ½ years. The female bed bug can lay over 500 eggs in her life cycle, which hatch in about 10 days, given the best temperatures.

It is believed that bed bugs don't transmit disease. However, they can cause an allergic skin response and bacterial infection from scratching.

If found on time, bed bugs can be effectively managed.

Bites are normally the first warning sign of a bed bug problem, but not all bug bites are bedbugs. Here you can get data about what is bed bug. Since 1998, Amherst School has had only one bed bug incident, which was confined to a single room. That isolated incident occurred, like most bed bug problems, because they were shifted to one site from another in personal belongings such as back packs, bedding, clothing and suitcases.

Bed Bug Bites

Bed bug bites, unlike bites which you might get from a gnat, mosquito, no-see-um or similar pest generally present with a number of attacks, normally in a directly row on the arms, legs, neck or torso. Bed bugs tend to gather together in hidden, undisturbed places where a person sits or sleeps.

* When assessing a bed or furniture for the possibility of bed bugs, we find for clusters of live bugs, shedding skins, dark colored fecal spots and the eggs. Point 360 West Animates Emmy Nominated Alien Earths on Nat Geo

Nation Geographic Channel's Alien Earths, created by director/producer Dana Berry of Skyworks Digital, has been nominated for an Emmy® in the category of Outstanding Animated Program. Point 360 West and animation director Jason Hearne, as well as animation director Dave Jerrard of Radical 3D, worked with Berry creating stunning animated effects of Super Novas and exploding planets adrift in the universe. The nominations were announced early July 8 2010. This nomination puts National Geographic Channel (NGC) up against heavy hitters in the animation field. Alien Earths contends with Disney's Prep and Landing, HBO's The Ricky Gervais Show, Fox's The Simpsons, and Comedy Central's Southpark.

The idea behind the show was to stretch our imagination and ponder the existence of other planets in the universe that were similar to our own, such as planets with iron rain and hot ice, with diamonds everywhere, and endless oceans of gas. Planets with abnormal orbital patterns and planets with no pattern at all that drift alone in the Milky Way. Planets so strange we never could have predicted them before. Planets so bizarre that they could have identical habitable environments and support life?

Edited with a mixture of interviews from astronomers and geologists, the show primarily centers on strong visuals of planets with their seemingly uninhabitable surfaces and conditions. In usual NGC style, the footage is realistic and ominous, yet beautiful and exalting. For example through the use of CGI, NGC helps us imagine a planet that gets thrust out of its solar system and caught by another. This event can cause a prodigious effect on it's environment. The gravitational pull of the new host star slings the planet around and propels it into an elliptical orbit. The planet becomes what is otherwise known as a "Yo Yo Planet" for the back and forth motion it makes to it's new sun. The effect that is produced on the planet is severe cold and unimaginable heat. But within 93 million miles from the star, roughly the same distance as the Earth from the sun, what is known as the "Goldilocks Zone" provides comfortable temperatures for the planet and activates lakes, oceans, streams, rivers, and waterfalls. The surface of "Yo Yo" becomes extremely familiar in those pockets of Spring and Fall. With the Hubble-Telescope-like animation it's easily understandable how life could be sustainable here.

Skyworks Digital first began work with Point 360 West on a documentary for the Hubble Space Telescope in 2007 where the association blossomed into a full vendor relationship that culminated in the creation of Alien Earths. When Berry first approached West about Earths, the show was called Infinite Worlds. "The concept of creating unstable planets for national broadcast was exciting and provocative", recalls Hearne. "Other than shows for SyFy, how often do animators get to create other worlds, and then blow them up with neutron stars!"

The pseudo reality form of the show did not allow for much wiggle room however. To maintain the National Geographic standard of excellence, the images required almost photographic quality and could not be too outrageous. With the right tools and team, the expected product could be delivered. Skyworks worked with West and Radical 3D to produce the newly nominated footage. The software used was Autodesk's Maya, Maxon's Cinema 4D, and Adobe After Effects for additional compositing. With advances in this software and the teams knowledgeable execution of high bit resolution rendering for HD output, the expectations of NGC were exceeded.

United Cutting Turnaround Time With New Dual-end Bridge

United is now using a fully automated dual-end jet bridge, which allows passengers to board and deplane simultaneously from the front and rear doors on narrow-body aircraft. The over-the-wing bridge, the first of its kind, is initially being used at Gate B15 at Denver International Airport. The airline expects to expand the use of the dual-end jet bridge to additional gates and other airports in the near future.

The bridge uses a combination of artificial vision and multiple redundant sensors to find the aircraft doors and drive the front and rear bridges to their docking positions - all without human input. The expectation is to increase aircraft turnaround time.
